Funny for your day

Just some funnies. I'll try and keep this somewhat updated from now until RAGBRAI to keep people entertained. Just some random items mostly mixed in with RAGBRAI news. I will change the settings to that anyone can offer their comments on posts, but I will moderate them should I deem them un-crackanoonish.

Deadline coming soooonnnn!!

So, what do you all think of this blog thing?? It'll be really cool come RAGBRAI when we are out in some town in Iowa, see some crazy stuff going on, take some pics, and then I send them from my phone to our blog. That way our 'normal' friends and family back at home can keep tabs on us.

So after my drunken philisophical post a few days ago, I've got something a little more important to discuss. It seems there are some Nooners that haven't got signed up yet....You know who you are. Now let's not do this, don't make me steal your identity, sign you up using your credit cards, and then come July abduct you and steal you away to Iowa. Sign up today!! Remember, "The Fearless Lead...Guitar" has made the deadline for getting your RAGBRAI dues ($125) to him, March 1st. That's this Thursday!! The Team dues ($125) aren't due until the first day of RAGBRAI. Now let's take a look at a pic that will remind you of why you're doing this thing called the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa.

There's a lot of this...

Then there is, of course, some of this...

Well, that's it for now. DanO and I will get some training rides scheduled this weekend and we'll post those up. For now, get registered for the easiest RAGBRAI ever (ie. biggest party RAGBRAI ever!!!), get your money and waivers to DanO, and tell your friends and family where they can keep up to date on us; www.teamcrackanoon.com

Beginning

In the beginning there was stone. We wrote on stone. We used pictures. We wrote with dyes and other such objects. Then came papryus and inks. Then pen and paper. Then the telegraph and telephone. Now here we are (never mind smoke signals and morse code and all that BS) we have the internet. This is how we will commuicate to our friends and family back home while we are out and about in Iowa doing what we do best; riding our bikes and having a good time.
